Chancellor Dennis Shields Works His Final Day at UW-Platteville

Wednesday marked University of Wisconsin-Platteville Chancellor Dennis Shields’s last day on the job. In February, Shields was named as the next president of the Southern University System in Louisiana and the chancellor of the SU Baton Rouge campus. Shields has led UW-P since 2010. UW-P Provost and Vice Chancellor of Academic Affairs Tammy Evetovich is serving as interim chancellor. Evetovich has served as the provost and vice chancellor of academic affairs at UW-P since June 2020.
