Some federal money for road work will support projects in parts of southwest Wisconsin. Governor Tony Evers announced $35 million dollars worth of funding for 40 infrastructure plans across the state. The money comes from the federal Bipartisan Infrastructure Law. Tuesday’s announcement marked the first round of local funding provided by the law. This is also the first of five years worth of funds coming from the legislation. Among the projects getting funding include work on County K from Highway 18 to County ID in Iowa County .. as well as Brownwood Road in Fennimore.
