Stokes is the second Packers defender to be ruled out for the season this week. Linebacker Rashan Gary suffered a season-ending ACL injury during last week’s game and was placed on injured reserve Wednesday. Gary led the team in sacks.

Stokes and Gary are just two of a host of Packers dealing with injuries. De’Vondre Campbell, Romeo Doubs and Shemar Jean-Charles are set to miss Sunday’s game, Krys Barnes is listed as doubtful and Amari Rodgers and David Bakhtiari are listed as questionable. Nine other Packers were limited during practice at some point this week due to injury including Rasul Douglas and Aaron Jones.
The Packers limp into Sunday’s game against Dallas sporting a 3-6 record. Green Bay has not won a game since October 2.
The Cowboys travel to Green Bay riding back-to-back wins over NFC North teams. Dallas is 6-2 in their third season under former Packers head coach Mike McCarthy.
McCarthy will make his first return to Lambeau Field on Sunday since being fired by the Packers in 2018. Kickoff is scheduled for 3:25 p.m. CT.
