Nominations open as Packers search for next Fan Hall of Fame honoree

GREEN BAY, Wis. — Do you know someone who bleeds Green and Gold? Whose tailgate parties are a thing of legend? Whose love of the Green Bay Packers knows no bounds?

If so, the team wants to hear from you.

Nominations are now open as the Packers search for their next Fan Hall of Fame honoree. The annual search scours Wisconsin and beyond to find the ultimate Packers fan.

Between now and Dec. 16, fans can nominate themselves or someone they know by writing an essay of no more than 500 words explaining why they or their nominee should be considered for the honor. From there, the Fan Hall of Fame selection committee will choose 10 finalists, who will be put out for a vote in January.

The winner, who will be announced in late February, will get four club seats to a game at Lambeau Field next season, a $500 gift card to the Packers Pro Shop, a road trip for two to an away game and a one-year subscription to PackersNews.com.

Last year’s winner was Jeff Yasick from Mazomanie.
