Joe Thomas named finalist for Pro Football Hall of Fame

MADISON, Wis. — Joe Thomas is now one step closer to the Pro Football Hall of Fame.
The former Badger was named one of 15 finalists for the hall’s 2023 class. Thomas spent his entire 11-year career with the Cleveland Browns, where he was a 10-time Pro Bowler.

During his time at Wisconsin, the Brookfield native won the Outland Trophy in 2006 and was a first-team All-American. He was inducted into the UW Athletic Hall of Fame and the College Football Hall of Fame in 2019.
Thomas would be the fifth Badger to be enshrined in the Pro Football Hall of Fame. The 2023 class will be announced on Feb. 9.
