Dickeyville Man Sentenced To 5 Years in Prison For Prostitution

The last man arrested in a prostitution sting in Dubuque last year has been sentenced to five years in prison. 32 year old Timothy Griffin of Dickeyville was sentenced in Iowa District Court of Dubuque County after pleading guilty to charges of prostitution and possession of marijuana with intent to deliver. Griffin was one of 11 men arrested and charged with prostitution as part of a joint operation conducted by the Dubuque Police Department, Dubuque County Sheriff’s Department and Iowa State Patrol on February 8th and 9th last year. The other 10 men  were sentenced last year after pleading guilty to one charge of prostitution each.
