A Dodgeville Police officer conducted a traffic stop on N Johns Street in Dodgeville on Sunday around 9:30. The officer suspected the driver may be under the influence and conducted a field sobriety test. Following the officers testing, 43 year old Michael Newberry of Dodgeville was arrested and taken into custody on charges of Operating While Under the Influence, his 3rd offense. He was booked into the Iowa County Jail where he remains in custody.
