Snowstorm Predicted For Thursday and Friday

Forecasters with the National Weather Service have issued a winter storm watch for the entire area. The winter storm watch area includes Clayton, Delaware, Dubuque, Jackson and Jones counties in Iowa, Jo Daviess County in Illinois and Crawford, Grant, Iowa and Lafayette counties in Wisconsin and is in effect from noon Thursday through noon Friday. The weather service reports that heavy snow is possible in the watch area, with accumulations of 4 to 8 inches possible. The snow could combine with winds gusting as high as 35 mph to create hazardous travel conditions.
