Roundabout Coming Between Platteville and Cuba City

Road work to construct a single lane roundabout at the intersection of Highway 80 and Highway 81 between Cuba City and Platteville will begin Friday. According to Grant County Supervisor of State Roads, Dan McLimans, the work will begin with replacing culverts. Crews will re-do the surface of the highway and grind and re-lay new pavement. McLimans says the intersection will close sometime in September for one night while the roundabout is constructed.
