Grant County Highways Reopening

Two Grant County roads have reopened as Mississippi River floodwaters have begun receding. According to the Grant County Sheriff’s Department, County Highway C has reopened east of Highways 18/35 to the Millville Boat landing at Barker Hollow Road and Highway 133 has reopened between Potosi and Cassville. County Highway X from Wyalusing Beach to Gasner Hollow Road would be a 3rd road to reopen. That portion of roadway could reopen as of today. Other roads that are still closed will need to be checked for roadway integrity after the water recedes.
