The Lone Rock bridge replacement project will accelerate this summer as the Wisconsin Department of Transportation plans to close Highway 133 South starting July 5th. According to a report, the project is to replace an old Richland County bridge connecting traffic from Spring Green and Lone Rock over the Wisconsin River to Richland and Iowa counties. The project started in the fall of 2022 and is predicted to conclude in 2025. The road closure of Highway 133 South is expected to last 90 days.
