Four people were hurt after a truck crashed into a buggy in downtown Darlington Sunday afternoon. According to the Darlington Police Department, the crash happened on Main Street at around 2:15 p.m. A report says that a truck was going west on Ann Street when it failed to yield the right-of-way to a southbound buggy on Main Street. The truck crashed into the buggy and it overturned. The buggy’s driver, 41 year old Daniel King of Darlington, and his wife were taken by EMS to Memorial Hospital of Lafayette County for their injuries. Two of their children were treated at the scene, and a third child was not hurt. The truck driver, 66 year old Chris Byl of Darlington also was not hurt.
