Platteville School District Teachers To Receive Pay Raises

School teachers in the Platteville School District will see pay raises of 7%. In a report, Platteville School Superintendent Jim Boebel said in April when the pay proposal was first introduced that most school districts then were figuring on a 4 to 6 percent pay increase against the then- current Consumer Price Index inflation measurement of 8%. The teacher pay raises are expected to cost the school district about $850,000.
