A recent Grant County Board Meeting began with a debate on whether a county supervisor could participate in the meeting virtually. Supervisor Brandon Snyder of Platteville connected to the meeting on May 16th via Zoom. According to the rules of the County Board, the rest of the board must accept whether or not to allow a member to participate virtually or if they can only observe, but not qualify for their per diem. The board voted against allowing Snyder to participate.
