District 3 Seat in Platteville Still Vacant

There is still no representative for District 3 on the Platteville City Council.The May 12th deadline for applicants to appy for, and fill, the District 3 vacancy came and went with no applicants. The new deadline will be on Tuesday. The vacancy was created when District 3 representative Barb Daus moved from District 3 to District 2 because of re-districting and Common Council President Eileen Nickels retired.
