Authorities said four people were injured in a two-vehicle crash Tuesday in Jo Daviess County. 19 year old Abigail Rivera-Castro of Shullsburg, 43 year old Jennifer Hanson of Winslow, and two juvenile passengers were taken to area hospitals for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries. According to the Jo Daviess County Sheriff’s Department, Rivera–Castro was driving north on Elizabeth Scales Mound Road Just after 5pm Tuesday when she ran the stop sign at Stagecoach Trail and entered the intersection. Rivera–Castro’s vehicle collided with a vehicle driven by Hanson east on Stagecoach Trail. Rivera Castro was cited with disregard of a traffic control device, no valid driver’s license and no valid insurance.
