Grant County authorities say a man was airlifted following a crash Thursday involving a semi-tractor trailer and utility vehicle near Potosi. 92 year old Wilbert Post of rural Potosi was taken by ambulance to a hospital and subsequently airlifted to University of Wisconsin Hospitals and Clinics. According to the Grant County Sheriff’s Department, Post was driving a UTV north on Highway 35/61 just north of Old County B in Rockville at around 2:15 p.m. Thursday when he made an abrupt left turn in front a southbound semi driven by 26 year old Joseph Midyett of Dysart, Iowa. Post was thrown from the UTV. Authorities are investigating the crash.
