A man from Lancaster was arrested for his 3rd offense of OWI after being injured in a rollover crash Friday around 4:30pm. The Grant County Sheriff’s Office took a report of a one vehicle rollover crash with injuries in the Township of Waterloo. Deputies arrived at the scene and determined that 35 year old Ryan Udelhofen of Lancaster, was traveling East on Highway 133, near Elmdale Road and entered a corner at a high rate of speed and lost control of his vehicle entering the gravel on the south side of the roadway before over correcting, crossing into oncoming traffic and entering the ditch on the north side of the roadway where he hit the embankment and the vehicle rolled. Udelhofen was ejected from the vehicle. Udelhofen was taken to Grant Regional Medical Center by Potosi EMS. An investigation was conducted and a charge of 3rd Offense Operating While Intoxicated will be referred to the Grant County District Attorney. Assisting at the scene were Potosi Fire and EMS. Arrow Towing of Lancaster removed the vehicle from the scene.
