Two men from Muscoda were involved in a one-vehicle crash near Argyle Saturday around 7am. Deputies from the Green County Sheriff’s department, along with the Argyle Fire Department, Argyle EMS, Green County EMS, and Med Flight, responded to County Highway J in the Town of Adams for a single vehicle accident with injuries. An investigation found that a vehicle driven by 41 year old Adam Lentz of Muscoda was southbound when it entered the gravel shoulder. Lentz overcorrected and lost control of the vehicle where it entered the west ditch, overturned, and struck a utility pole. Lentz sustained injuries as a result. Lentz was found to not be wearing his seatbelt and the airbags did not deploy in the vehicle. Lentz’s passenger, 49 year old Jamie Dobbs of Muscoda reported injuries and unknown seatbelt usage. Lentz’s vehicle was towed due to disabling damages. Lentz was cited for failure to maintain control of vehicle, failure to wear seatbelt, and possession of open intoxicants in a motor vehicle.
