Hunting Season Is Just About Here

With multiple seasons opening next month, the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources is asking hunters to double check that they have the correct opening date before heading out to hunt. Hunters can find plenty of information on regulations, seasons dates, hours and other resources on the DNR’s hunting webpage. The DNR is also asking hunters to remember firearm safety rules: Treat every firearm as if it is loaded. Always point the muzzle in a safe direction. Be certain of your target, what’s before it and what’s beyond it. And, keep your finger outside the trigger guard until you are ready to shoot.
