Two Vehicle Crash in Jo Daviess County

Authorities say one person was injured in a two-vehicle crash in Jo Daviess County on Monday. 60 year old Bonnie Livingston of Galena was taken by ambulance to Midwest Medical Center for treatment of her injuries. According to the Jo Daviess County Sheriff’s Department, a vehicle driven by 67 year old Arjen Chamberlain of Galena was heading south on Highway 84 shortly after 3pm Monday in rural Galena when he failed to yield at the intersection while attempting a left turn onto U.S. Highway 20, causing a collision with Livingston’s vehicle, which was traveling west on U.S. Highway 20. Chamberlain was uninjured and two passengers in Livingston’s vehicle were uninjured. Chamberlain was cited with failure to yield at an intersection.
