Dubuque Police say a Platteville man who led authorities on a high-speed chase last month in Dubuque also faces drug charges. 34 year old Timothy Dress of Platteville was arrested at the Dubuque Law Enforcement Center on warrants charging eluding, driving while barred, violation of parole, two counts of failure to appear and three counts of possession of methamphetamine with intent to deliver. A report says that Dress fled police during an attempted traffic stop on August 7 in the 1200 block of East 16th Street in Dubuque. Initially officers were unable to apprehend him. A subsequent search of his vehicle by a K-9 unit revealed bags of methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia. Two weeks prior to the pursuit and vehicle search, the Dubuque Drug Task Force had conducted two undercover purchases of methamphetamine from Dress.
