Warren, Illinois Woman Arrested For Possession of Drug Paraphernalia

Deputies with the Green County Sheriff’s Department responded to the Town of Cadiz, for a 911 call of suspicious persons asking for gas Monday around 2:30pm.  Deputies located the vehicle and conducted a traffic stop for a registration violation. Methamphetamine paraphernalia was located on a passenger, 21 year old Makayla Ball of Warren, Illinois.  Ball was arrested for possession of paraphernalia and jailed pending a court appearance.  The driver, 61 year old Jon Simmons of Gratiot, was cited for Operating After Revocation–OWI related, and Display of Unauthorized Registration.  He was released with a mandatory court date.
