Firearm Found in Yard

On Sunday, the Platteville Police Department took possession of a firearm that someone found laying in their front yard. The Police Department has not been able to locate the owner of the firearm and are hopeful that announcements will assist in finding the owner. There are several other items with the firearm that are distinguishable and can assist with identifying the owner.
