As Dubuque waits for the first big snowfall, someone in need might need your help this winter to clear the snow and ice from their sidewalk. The DBQ Shovel Crew program is for those who are physically and financially unable to remove snow. The City of Dubuque is accepting applications and seeking volunteers for the Snow Shoveling Assistance Program. If possible, volunteers are asked to use their own equipment, but the city says they do have a limited supply of shovels and deicer salt for volunteers to borrow.
