South Wayne Woman Arrested Had Active Arrest Warrant

At around 8:45 PM Sunday night, Deputies with the Green County Sheriff’s Office conducted a welfare check on a motorist on Highway 11 in the Town of Jefferson. Deputies later found that an occupant, 41 year old Shannon Nafzger of South Wayne, had an active arrest warrant.  The investigation resulted in Nafzger being placed under arrest for the warrant and Resisting Law Enforcement.  Nafzger was incarcerated at the Green County Jail pending court.
