Rock County authorities say Highway 14 is back open after being closed overnight due to downed powerlines and tornado damage. The Rock County Sheriff’s Office says both eastbound and westbound traffic re-opened at 8:53 a.m., but several side roads are still closed due to debris. People are still being asked to avoid those roads. People who were evacuated overnight are still being told they cannot return home yet. Those who weren’t evacuated and are evaluating damage at their homes are asked to report damage using 211. It is the first time, ever, that a tornado touchdown has been reported in Wisconsin in February.
