A man from Richland Center-19 year old Zayden Miller was arrested on a number of charges according to the Richland Center Police Department. Authorities were notified on Tuesday of a fight involving one person being hit in the head with a baseball bat at a Richland Center Business. The fight was the result of a jealous relationship situation. The preliminary investigation identified Zayden Miller as the suspect and he had left the scene. Law Enforcement received in formation Miller was traveling to the Lone Rock area. The Avoca Police Department saw Miller traveling at a high rate of speed on Highway 133 westbound into the village head to Muscoda. Due to safety issues-the Avoca Officer did not start a pursuit. Miller’s vehicle became disabled after hitting a deer. He was found sitting in the vehicle by Grant County Sheriff’s Deputies and taken into custody. Zayden Miller was arrested for Child Abuse, Substantial Battery, First Degree Reckless Endangering Safety and Disorderly Conduct. The Richland County and Grant County Sheriff’s Departments, Richland EMS along with the Avoca and Muscoda Police Departments provided assistance to the Richland Center Police Department.
