Grant applications open for Lafayette County businesses

Grant applications are open for locally owned small businesses in Lafayette County. The Launch Lafayette County grant program is now open, according to an online announcement. The grants are designed to support new and existing businesses across the county. Grant recipients can receive up to $3,000, with a local match required. Any business with a physical location in Lafayette County or a commitment to open a business there in the next six months is eligible to apply. A total of $15,000 will be awarded to businesses for various building improvements or costs related to marketing and visual design. Applications can be found on the Lafeyette County website and are due by March 22, and all recipients will be notified by April 11.
