A Monroe man was convicted of four felonies after police say he fired a gun into a home in Monroe in 2023. John Fredieu pleaded no contest to three counts of first-degree recklessly endangering safety and one count of endangering safety by reckless use of a firearm. Court records show both sides agreed to a plea and sentencing hearing on Friday. At that hearing, Fredieu was sentenced to 15 years in prison and 10 years of extended supervision. Police say Fredieu shot into a home on 16th Street in Monroe in January of 2023. No one was hurt.
