Two Iowa County teens are still missing, and their parents are asking the public to call the Dodgeville Police Department with any potential leads. According to police and their parents, both 17 year old Johnathon Lindahl and 16 year old Holly Girton are believed to have run away from their homes in Holly Girton’s 2007 Pontiac Grand Prix. Since Monday night, Holly’s mother Jennifer Christianson said she and her family have searched in Dodgeville, Belmont, Highland and Dubuque for the two teens. Christianson said the last time she saw her daughter was Monday night when she went to bed and everything seemed normal. Christianson said when she checked in on her daughter, she found blankets stuffed under the bed covers, her phone was left in the room and the window was open. John’s father Jeremy Lindahl went to pick up his son from a friend’s house in Dodgeville when he didn’t come home for dinner as they’d previously discussed. Jeremy found John’s car abandoned at the friend’s home with the keys and his phone inside of it. The parents ask anyone with any information pertaining to the two teens to call the Dodgeville Police Department at 608-935-5950.
