New exhibit at National Mississippi River Museum

The National Mississippi River Museum’s new summer exhibit is an adventure and nostalgic game for guests. ‘American Adventures’ is an ‘Oregon Trail’ style game where guests role-play as a settler after they land on the American shoreline in 1607. The maze will test your knowledge of wildlife, plants, and in some cases physical fitness! Museum Marketing & Communications Manager, Emily Adlfinger explains the roleplaying aspect of the maze 

Each traveling exhibit is years in the making to bring them to Dubuque and museum staff work hard to ensure each exhibit is mission focused. Director of Sales & Guest Services, Nate Breitsprecker, explains how unique this exhibit is 

‘American Adventures’ will open this weekend and will be in Dubuque through September 15th. Admission is included with general admission to the museum.
