Warrant Arrest For Wanted Man in Grant County

Shortly after midnight on Monday, Grant County Sheriff deputies attempted a traffic stop on a Case IH 7130 tractor pulling a disc plow being driven by 47 year old Chad Klein of Cassville. Klein was wanted on multiple Grant County warrants and a Department of Corrections warrant. Most recently, Klein fled authorities following a hit and run crash in Beetown Township since May 17th. This time, Klein led deputies on a five mile pursuit before stopping at a farm in Glen Haven Township. Klein then attempted to run from deputies before being taken into custody and transported to the Grant County Jail. Charges are pending following the pursuit. Deputies were assisted by Glen Haven First Responders and Cassville EMS.
