The number of people attending the Grant County and Richland County Dairy breakfast on Sunday totaled over 7,000. The weather cooperated and having the event on a farm also helps. The Lancaster FFA Alumni reported about 3,000 people went through the food line at the Buttles farm just outside of Lancaster. Officials with the Richland County Breakfast said total attendance at the Nelson Farm near Ithaca was about 4,250.
The Iowa County Dairy Breakfast was held on June 1st. Officials with the breakfast held on the Putz (like putting) Farm at Avoca planned for 1,800 and had 1,300 show up despite a steady rain throughout the morning.
