The Iowa County Communications Center received a report of shoplifters leaving Walmart in Dodgeville Wednesday around 4pm. The Barneveld Police Department conducted a traffic stop on the offending vehicle near Mile Marker 60 in Barneveld Township and was assisted by Iowa County Sheriff’s Deputies. As a result, 32 year old David Anderson Jr, of Janesville was arrested and booked on charges of Probation Violation. Also, 42 year old Leah Kneubuhler of Madison was arrested and booked on a charge of Possession of Methamphetamine. Also, 32 year old Cory Meyer of Janesville was arrested and booked on charges of Possession of Methamphetamine, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia to Manufacture Methamphetamine, Possession of Controlled Substances, Operating while Revoked and Ignition Interlock Device Tampering and Failure to install an ignition interlock device, a Violation of a Court Order. All persons were transferred to the Iowa County Jail and remain in custody.
