Judge Hears Arguments About The Parker Project

A judge on Tuesday heard oral arguments related to a request by the city of Galena and developers of a major resort project to overturn his previous decision that halted the project’s development. The ongoing litigation addresses The Parker resort, which was set to be built on nearly 100 acres that includes Galena Marine Hospital. Plans for the site included more than 100 cottages, a restaurant, a vineyard and many other amenities. A large group of citizens opposed the development proposal.
