A former member of the Wisconsin State Assembly and Grant county Board of Supervisors has passed away. 64 year old Steve Freese passed away on Wednesday August 28th. Freese represented Jamestown Township on the Board of Supervisors from 1980 to 1994. We was elected and served in the Wisconsin State Assembly from 1991 to 2007. Freese was a graduate of Southwestern High School and UW-Platteville. Freese currently had been serving as the President and CEO of the Wisconsin Electric Cooperative since 2015. Funeral services for Steve Freese are scheduled for Saturday September 7th.
