George Clooney has denied claims that he and Brad Pitt were paid $35 million each for their roles in the film Wolfs. Clooney told the press at the Venice Film Festival that the reported salaries were “millions and millions and millions of dollars less” than what they were actually paid. He also expressed concern that “it’s bad for our industry if that’s what people think.” Clooney also praising Joe Biden’s decision to step down as the Democratic presidential nominee, calling it “the most selfless thing that anybody has done since George Washington.” Wolfs will be released on Apple TV+ on September 27, following a limited theatrical release on September 20.
