‘1,000-Lb. Sisters’ Amy Slaton Bitten By Camel, Arrested For Drugs At Zoo

Reality star Amy Slaton, known from 1,000-Lb. Sisters, was treated for a reported camel bite at Tennessee Safari Park before being arrested on drug and child endangerment charges. The Crockett County Sheriff’s Department found what appeared to be mushrooms and marijuana in her car “in plain sight,” leading to her and Brian Scott Lovvorn’s arrest. Both face charges of possessing illegal substances and endangering two children. Slaton’s children were placed with family, while Child Services will investigate further. Slaton, who recently welcomed her second son, remained in custody yesterday with a $10,000 bond. (People)
