Dodgeville Man From Korean War To Be Escorted Back Home

The Iowa County Sheriff’s Office and The Dodgeville Police Department are planning details for escorting U.S. Army Cpl. Robert Raess of Dodgeville, who was reported missing in action during the Korean War and was accounted for on March 26th. The escort will take place from Milwaukee to Dodgeville, on Thursday September 5th, 2024 with the escort proceeding through downtown Dodgeville at approximately 7:30 pm. The escort will end at Gorgen McGinley & Ayers Funeral Home on East Grace Street in Dodgeville.
