On Tuesday, the Crawford County Sheriff’s Department initiated a traffic stop in the Village of Gays Mills. During the stop, Sheriff’s Office K9 Diego was utilized and alerted to the presence of one or more controlled substances in the vehicle, and methamphetamine and methamphetamine paraphernalia were discovered. The driver, 52 year old Ronnie Hatlan of Gays Mills, was arrested and taken to the Crawford County Jail on charges of possession of methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia. The Sheriff’s Office was assisted by Milo’s Towing Service.
