Dubuque Man Gets 25 Year in Prison For Indecent Contact With A Minor

A Dubuque man has been sentenced to 25 years in prison for indecent contact with a minor to whom he supplied drugs. 34 year old Ryan Steege received the sentence in Iowa District Court of Dubuque County after pleading guilty to charges of second-degree sexual abuse, distribution of drugs to a person under 18, two counts of indecent contact with a child and three counts of child endangerment. A report says that Steege, in 2021, made indecent contact with a girl younger than 13 whom he knew in Dubuque. In addition, he also provided the girl and her underage friends with marijuana on multiple occasions.
