Authorities said two people were injured in a two-vehicle crash Monday in Jo Daviess County. 80 year old Rosemary Haring of Savanna, was taken by ambulance to UnityPoint Health-Finley Hospital, and 40 year old Ashley Empen of Epworth, Iowa, was taken by ambulance to Midwest Medical Center for treatment of their injuries. According to the Jo Daviess County Sheriff’s Department, Empen was traveling north on Illinois HIghway 84 near the intersection with South Four Corners Road at 11:50 a.m. Monday when she entered the southbound lane and struck a southbound vehicle driven by Haring.
