Prescription Drug Take Back Day

The Grant County Sheriff’s Office, in cooperation with the Wisconsin Department of Justice and the Drug Enforcement Administration  will participate in a National Prescription Drug Take Back Day on Friday between 9:00am and 11:30am, at Grant County Elderfest which will be held at the Grant County Fairgrounds Youth and Ag Building, in Lancaster. Item you can bring include: Prescription (controlled and non-controlled) and over-the-counter medications, ointments, patches, inhalers, non-aerosol sprays, creams, vials and pet medications. Vape pens or other e-cigarette devices must have the batteries removed. Liquids will be accepted during this initiative. However, the liquids, creams and sprays must be in their original packaging. Liquids without the original packaging will not be accepted.
