Timothée Chalamet appeared at his own look-alike contest in Lower Manhattan, where he posed for photos with his doppelgängers, some of whom were dressed as his characters from Wonka and Dune. Adoring fans initially mistook the look-alikes for the real Chalamet, drawing a large crowd in Washington Square Park. However, police dispersed the group and organizers were fined for hosting an “unpermitted costume contest.” Despite the disruption, the event continued in another location, where the look-alikes competed for a $50 prize and entertained the crowd with various activities. The winner was Miles Mitchell, a Staten Island resident and college senior. (AP)
