On Saturday (November 2), Luke Combs celebrated the grand opening of Category 10, his sprawling new venue in downtown Nashville. Category 10 is located where the famed Wildhorse Saloon once resided, just off of Broadway’s main drag alongside the Cumberland River waterfront. The massive 67,000-square-foot venue takes its name from Combs’ No. 1 charting debut single, “Hurricane.” The multi-level establishment features multiple entertainment spaces and live music stages, such as Hurricane Hall, the 5 Leaf Clover Sports Bar, and a bourbon lounge. Combs christened the place with a live performance during a soft opening on Friday in front of his Bootleggers fan club members and industry insiders. He documented the show and his sparkling new venue in an Instagram post. “This is @officialcategory10 and it opens today!” Combs proudly wrote in the caption. “It’s a dream come true, and I am excited for y’all to see it, so next time you’re in Nashville, be sure and check it out!” (Holler)
