Kenny Chesney announced on Thursday (January 16) that he has scheduled a spring residency at Las Vegas’ iconic Sphere. Chesney will become the first country artist to headline the Sphere during his 12-show Vegas run, which kicks off on May 22 and finishes up on June 14. Chesney will join the impressive list of legendary artists who have already performed groundbreaking Sphere residencies, like U2, the Eagles, Phish, and Dead & Company. “I’m always looking for ways to deepen the way No Shoes Nation experiences this music,” Chesney said of his upcoming dates at the state-of-the-art 17,600-capacity Vegas venue. “When people give you that much heart, I want to give them even more,” Chesney said. “To me, this is going to be a whole new way of rocking the fans, and I can’t wait.” Tickets go on sale to the general public on Friday, January 31 at 10 a.m. PT.
