Darlington man arrested for 2nd offense OWI in Gratiot

On Sunday at 3:30 AM Gratiot Fire, Gratiot First Response, Green County EMS and Lafayette County deputies responded to Highway 11 in Gratiot Township for a one vehicle accident. 32-year-old Dillin J. Thompson of Darlington was traveling on Highway 11 when he lost control of his vehicle, left the roadway, entered the ditch and struck a rock wall. Thompson was transported to the hospital for nonlife threatening injuries. Thompson’s vehicle received disabling damage and was towed from the scene. Thompson was cited for Failure to Maintain Control and Operating While Intoxicated, 2nd Offense
