On Wednesday at 10:20 PM 52-year-old Michael L. Kastner of Belmont was arrested for Knowingly Fleeing/Eluding and Recklessly Endangering Safety on Ipswitch RD in Belmont Township following a traffic stop. Kastner was transported to Lafayette County Jail where he was booked and remains. Kastner was also cited for Operating After Suspension, Operating without Headlights, Unreasonable and Imprudent Speed, No Insurance and Failure to Wear a Seatbelt.
