Simpson is touring in support of his 2024 album, Passage Du Desir, which he released under the stage name Johnny Blue Skies. In the tour announcement on Instagram shared on Thursday (February 13), Simpson promises the shows will only feature him and his band, “No openers. If you’re on time, you’re late.” The tour will kick off in Durant, Oklahoma on April 5th, and make stops in cities such as Denver, Spokane, Minneapolis, Berkeley, and more, along with an appearance at Stagecoach on April 26, before concluding in Columbia, Maryland on May 24th. Simpson has also rescheduled his shows in Asheville, North Carolina on May 20-21 that were originally postponed due to Hurricane Helene.
